About Pilates 100
Pilates 100 is one of the basic exercises often used as a warm up in Pilates classes. Similar pose can be performed also in Yoga. This exercise uses your body resistance from both higher and lower body to give your core muscles proper workout. All you need to start with is an exercise mat.
How to do Pilates 100
Pilates 100 is a very easy but effective exercise and this video will demonstrate how to do it.
You begin the exercise by lying on your back, with both your arms lifted pointing towards the ceiling. Bend your knees at a 90 degree angle, then straighten them to a 45 degree angle while you lift your higher torso and level your arms with your body.
Start pumping your arms up and down in a swift movement, keeping the same position of your legs and torso. Perform 100 pumps, inhaling for five breaths and exhaling for 5 breaths.
